Initially the title of theme 10 was only Art Galleries on Route 66. But what’s an art gallery without an artist or artwork. Therefore we expanded to Art Galleries incl. Artists & Artwork.
#Route66Travelers who visited one or more art galleries along their trip, have met an artist with or without art gallery or have seen artwork about Route 66, please tell us more about the gallery, the artist and the artwork. Also the artists themselves may present their artwork and galleries. The number of posts is NOT limited – just please – ONLY ONE PHOTO PER POST.
On a GoogleMap Search for Art Galleries on Route 66 quite a few popped up. I hope many of the gallery owners / artists will present themselves and their artwork and also share their websites URL.

An artist is a person engaged in an activity related to creating art, practicing the arts, or demonstrating an art. The common usage in both everyday speech and academic discourse refers to a practitioner in the visual arts only (from: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artist). To keep it simple, we decided to limit our challenge to the visual arts.
We are looking for artists creating the following kind of artwork:

The winner photo of this challenge will be announced within 5 days after the challenge Route 66 Art Galleries, Artists & Artwork is completed. The replacing of the header with the winner photo for the Twitter Moment will also be shared on Twitter.
